Overview

This privacy policy explains how FileScribe handles information. FileScribe is designed to help you turn audio files into readable, searchable transcripts.

Audio Files

FileScribe only accesses audio files that you choose through the system file picker. Those files are used to generate the transcript shown in the app.

Transcripts

Transcript text is created so you can read, search, copy, and replay parts of your selected audio. FileScribe does not include account sign-in or a cloud transcript library.

Speech Recognition

FileScribe uses Apple's speech recognition technology. Your device may download Apple speech assets when needed to support transcription.

Tracking

FileScribe does not include advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking code.
